Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) was an American actor from the United States. His television career began with performances, such as Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. His fame was boosted by his character as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans played in various films that were adapted from comics and graphic novels, like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). Evans gained more attention for his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble movies The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He became one of the top-paid actors in the world because of his work for the Marvel franchise.
