MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. He released his debut long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. This album peaked at eighteen places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina the next year. He appeared later in 2021 as a duo with TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into an musical family. His older brother and mother are also musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has stated that music is a must. When he was a kid, he began learning to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. Though his original career plan was becoming veterinarian His brother Julian encouraged him to start learning to sing with the Cuban. This changed his entire life.
