Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. She grew up listening mostly to classical music, boleros from the past, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing. However, she began more intensive vocal training with Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. he was a renowned Mexican opera tenor. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As an active performer as well as an instructor the passion for music and art keeps her involved in a range of different projects. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to sing the same.
